WoolStores Multi-Res

BRIEF: To redevelop the unused heritage Fremantle Woolstores building into a net-zero multi-residential apartment community. The design solution will foster a vibrant neighborhood through providing shared amenities, green space, and have a key focus on sustainable and regenerative design solutions.

KEY OBJECTIVES: 

- To increase appeal yet retain and respect the 

heritage 

values of the Fremantle Woolstores building. 

- To strategize net zero-carbon architecture and 

create a carbon neutral building 

- Embrace biophilic design principles 

- Design minimal, comfortable, well crafted and cost 

effective apartments 

- Increase a sense of community with shared 

spaces, and greenery.
